→ Uses

The tape P778 is recommended for technical bonding in the automotive market: to fix and maintain die-cuts foams and other materials which protect outdoor plastic parts (without painting) from shocks and scratches (due to transport & parking).

High tack & adhesion of the open side (especially on foams)
Good adhesion of the closed side on materials with low energy surfaces (PP) with rough textures
Easily removable without any residue
Repositionable
Excellent resistance to temperature & humidity cycling
Good resistance to water (rain, shower ...)
Good temperature resistance : -20°C to 85°C: Continuously (days / weeks): 70°C / Peak (seconds / minutes): 100°C
Has been validated by OEM according to specifications

→ Storage and shelf life

6 months from the date of receipt by the customer when the product is stored in his original packaging at 20°C (±5°C) and a relative humidity of approximately 50% (±15%). The products must be protected from temperatures above 40°C, UV light and relative humidity above 80%.
