Building envelope

Adhex offers craftsmen and construction professionals a range of innovative adhesive tapes dedicated to the connection of films to create the building envelope, whether they are nailed, stapled or overlapped. Vapor barrier membranes block hot air and water vapor inside the room, to limit heat loss from walls or floor coverings. Self-adhesive rain and air barrier films and roof underlayments prevent rain from reaching the wall and keep cold air out while allowing water vapor to pass through to prevent mould growth.

Double-sided for vapor barrier attachment to wall studs or pre-integrated to the membrane, the adhesive tapes are resistant to hot and cold temperatures, UV, tearing, and can stick to damp surfaces. Designed in synergy with Adhex’s Healthcare division using techniques developed in the medical field (dressings), the breathable membrane connections for the building envelope are air and water tight but vapor permeable, and resistant over the long term.

Various accessories are available to deal with singular points (window connections, elastic sleeves for pipes, cables, electrical outlets, nail sealing, etc.), thus guaranteeing a perfect waterproofing of the building envelope.

To make application easier, the insulation connection rolls can be cut by hand, without tools, thanks to a notched cut. They are available with or without a removable liner, the second option, with a non-stick agent on the back, with the double advantage of being more environmentally friendly and saving time during installation.

The products are available in all dimensions, width and length, designed according to standards or custom-made. They are suitable for residential or commercial buildings, in different colors, with the possibility of adding an inscription (logo, instructions, strips…).
